Black Adam Trailer: Dwayne Johnson Brings The Intense, Action-Packed

On Wednesday, the trailer for Black Adam was released, offering fans of the character and Dwayne Johnson their first comprehensive look at how the next big DC Comics picture is shaping out.

The crew behind Black Adam talked with members of the press on the Warner Bros. lot ahead of the trailer’s release to give some insights regarding the process to bring the character to the film.

With Johnson dedicated to the Black Adam persona for over a decade and presumably eager for another ten, plans for Black Adam’s big screen debut have altered dramatically over the years. Johnson and producers Hiram Garcia and Beau Flynn discussed the initial ideas and why things changed the behind scenes.

Black Adam, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, is set to hit theaters on October 21, and in this first trailer, you’ll meet a man in black himself as well as a bevy of other heroes. Hawkman “Aldis Hodge”, Atom Smasher “Noah Centineo”, Cyclone “Quintessa Swindell”, and Dr. Fate are members of the Justice Society of America “Pierce Brosnan”.  Read more about Deep water.

The Justice Society of America appears in this film, which tells the origin narrative of this super-powered anti-hero. Fans will observe, however, that while learning about Black Adam’s background, family, and the fact that he murders people, we don’t learn anything about the film’s plot. Garcia stated that this was done on purpose.

According to the scenario, Shazam, was launched in 2019 and it was well by mass audiences. The film featured a lighter tone than many of the DC Comics films that had come before it since Man of Steel inaugurated a new big screen universe in 2013.
