Death of Firehouse singer C.J. Snare: A sad day for Rock N Roll

American singer C.J. Snare, best known for being the frontman and founding member of the hard rock, passed away unexpectedly” at his home at the age of 64.
Snare was the lead singer of the 80s hair metal band FireHouse breathed his last on Friday night after suffering cardiac arrest, according to the hard rock band. He had performed the song“Don’t Treat Me Bad”(1991) and “Love of a Lifetime” (1992) from the brand of the American rock band FireHouse.
C.J. Snare, who was the hair metal icon who fronted FireHouse for more than three decades, sang lead vocals and played keyboard on all eight of its albums.
Longtime vocalist Snare had written the band best known for early ’90s Hot 100 hits “Love of a Lifetime” and “When I Look Into Your Eyes.”
The band Firehouse in a statement on the official Firehouse Facebook page shared the news of Snare’s demise on Sunday (April 7).
“We announce with great sorrow that CJ Snare, the rock and roll warrior and founding member of Firehouse, has passed away today,”said the message.
The singer was expected to return to touring this summer, following recovery from abdominal surgery Snare, said the statement.
Snare informed his fans on Instagram in October that he had underwent surgery, saying it was “time to recover and get back to the stage.”
Snare wrote on March 27 that he would be back on stage with FireHouse.
The group wrote on Saturday that they are all in whole mourning with CJ’s untimely demise and highlighed Snare’s vocal talent and noted he’d been on the road with FireHouse “non-stop the past 34 years.”
Firehouse had two top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in the early ’90s with power ballads after signing with Epic Records in 1989.
