How to Apply for XI Admission?

The results of the SSC and its equivalent examination 2024 have been published on May 12. This year a total of 1,6 72,153 students passed the examinations. Now, they need to complete their class XI admission. As they continue their higher secondary studies, applying for XI Class admission 2024 is important for them.

The admission activities of all colleges under all education boards– Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh– will be completed in an integrated system. The admission will be completed based on the result of the SSC and Equivalent Exams. No students will sit for the test for admission.
When the process of applying for XI admission will start?
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has announced the first and last date for the online application process for admission to class XI.
Tapan Kumar Sarkar, chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, said the first phase of the application process will kick off on May 26 and will continue until Jun 11.
The candidates must apply online based on their SSC results for XI admission. Moreover, their applications will be accepted in three phases.
What is the application process for XI admission?
The students, who have already passed SSC and equivalent examinations, will have to log into the following website (www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd) and apply for admission. The students must pay a Tk 150 fee and can apply to a maximum of 10 educational institutions and a minimum of 10 educational institutions of their choice.
A student will get one college from all applications based on his merit, quota (if applicable), and preference. They only will be admitted on the results of the SSC and examination.
The authority will scrutinize the first phase application and dispose of it by June 12-13. At that time, the application of the students who want the re-scrutiny of the result will be accepted. The results of the first phase application for XI admission will be published at 8:00 pm on June 23.
The second phase application will start on June 30 and end on July 2 while the third phase application will be accepted from July 9 and 10.
Students will get the results of the second phase application and first migration at 8:00 pm on July 4 while the results of the third phase application and second migration will be published at 8:00 pm on July 12.
3rd Phase Selection Confirmation will be between July 13 and July 14 and admission will be completed from July 15 to 25 while class will start on July 30.

What are the guidelines for the admission of XI students?
The secondary and higher education division on May 15 issued guidelines for the admission of XI students for 2024.
According to the guidelines, 93 percent of the total vacant seats will be considered a “merit quota” for admission and the rest will remain open for all.
Of the seven, the children of freedom fighters will get five percent of quota while two percent will be fixed for the children of officers or employees working in the Ministry of Education and its subordinate institutions.
MPO-affiliated colleges of Dhaka city can charge a maximum of Tk 5,000 as admission fee, while the same institution outside of metros can charge Tk 3,000.
The colleges of district headquarters and upazilas can charge Tk 2,000 and Tk 1,500 respectively.
Non-MPO Bengali version colleges under Dhaka city can charge maximum of Tk 7,500, while same type English version colleges can charge Tk 8,500 as charge.
Bengali version non-MPO colleges outside of metropolitan cities can charge Tk 5,000 while the same type of English version colleges can charge Tk 6,000 as the admission fees.
How to Pay Application Fee for XI class admission?
You need to pay the application fee in the first step to apply for XI class admission. The students will have to pay Tk 150 for each application. Let us know how to pay the application fee.
- You will have to go to your mobile operator’s SMS option.
- Then type “CAD” (space) “Web” (space) “Board Code” (space) “Roll” (space) “Year” (space) “Registration No” and send it to 16222.
- An SMS with a PIN number will be sent.
- Then reply to the SMS by typing “CAD” (space) “Yes” (space) “PIN” (space) “Your Contact Number” and send it to 16222.
You can also pay the application fee through mobile banking, debit and credit cards, Sonali Sheba, and online banking. The second step is to complete the online application after paying the application fee.
How to complete the Online Application Procedure?
The applicants must follow the steps to fill out the online application form after completing the application fee payment successfully.
- You first will have to visit the official website at xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
- Then click on the “Apply Now” button.
- Now log in using the provided PIN number that you have already got through payment.
- Later select desired educational institutions from the list.
- Then, you will have to fill in the required personal and academic information appropriately.
- Never forget to verify your details. Then submit the application form.
- Finally, you can download and print the completed application form.
How to find class xi admission results?
First Phase Application’s class xi admission result will be published on June 23, 2024.
- First, you will have to visit the website xiclassadmission.gov.bd
- Then, click on the “XI Class Merit List” link or button.
- Later, write your SSC Examination Roll and Registration Number.
- Now click the “Submit” button.
- You will be able to see your merit position upon successful submission.
N.B: As per the schedule published by the education ministry, the merit list of class xi admission results and migration results will be published.
