Fight the mosquito bite:

As dengue is a mosquito-borne disease, you need to fight the mosquito bites. Female Aedes mosquitoes are mainly blamed for the transmission of the virus. You should be careful enough to stay out of the mosquitoes. There are some ways to make it easy. They are-

Wear long clothes:

You should wear long clothes such as full sleeve shirt and long pants. Most of the part of your body will be covered so that the mosquitoes will get less chance to bite you and transmit the virus.

Use mosquito netting curtain:

Using mosquito netting curtains during sleeping time can be an effective remedy for mosquito bites. It is reusable and easy to use. You can sleep well without any jeopardy using the curtains.

Use mosquito repellents:

Using mosquito repellents can be a useful preventive measure to control dengue. The repellents can be found in many forms. You can collect any of these from your nearby market and use them. However, you should keep the repellents out of the reach of the children.

Cleanliness:

You must keep your house and the adjacent areas including the garden clean as mosquitoes live and breed in bushes and dirty places. You should be careful of the stagnant water as it can be a suitable breeding ground for mosquitoes.

See a doctor:

If any of the dengue symptoms are seen, you should immediately take advice from a doctor. The doctor will treat you understanding your health condition. You should follow the instructions of the doctor to get well soon.

Eat healthy food and drinks:

Eating healthy food and fruits along with fresh juice can be very effective to prevent dengue. Coconut water, papaya juice, and other drinks and food items help boost your immune system and keep you healthy.
