Sony Pictures on Thursday released the trailer for It Ends with Us, the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling book, reports boxofficepro.com.
The movie is Colleen Hoover’s introduction to Hollywood, as the monstrously popular book opens the Pandora’s Box of Hoover’s world being transformed from text to the big screen.
As per the synopsis, Lily Bloom (Blake Lively), who overcomes a traumatic childhood to embark on a new journey in Boston and chase a lifelong dream of owning her own flower shop. A meeting by chance with charming neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni) sparks a fire. It grows into an intense flame, but the duo falls in love. Lily begins to see another side of Ryle that reminds her of her parent’s relationship.
However, when the florist’s first love, Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar), enters the scene, her relationship with Ryle becomes upside down.
Now she has to choose between the intense connection with Ryle and her first love Atlas.
The film, directed by Justin Baldoni (Five Feet Apart $45.7M domestic/$92.5M global), also stars Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, Amy Morton, and Brandon Sklenar, alongside Blake Lively.
The movie is set to launch in theaters on August 9.
