Ivana Trump, first wife of Donald Trump, died on Thursday at the age of 73, the family revealed. She died at her home in New York City, according to the former president’s post on Truth Social. In a statement, the Trumps referred to her as an incredible woman.

Mrs. Trump was discovered unresponsive on a staircase in her East 64th Street residence near Central Park after police responded to an emergency call at 12:40 p.m., and she was declared dead at the scene, according to two law enforcement sources familiar with the situation.
Detectives from the New York Police Department initiated an inquiry and discovered no evidence of forced entry or visible trauma indicating wrongdoing. Ivana Trump grew in Czechoslovakia, south of Prague, as per a profile on the website of talent agency.
In the 1970s, she relocated to Canada and worked as a ski instructor before embarking on a modeling career. She caught Donald Trump in 1976 while on a business trip in New York, and the pair married in 1977.
On 15 years of marriage they have three children, and the couple split in 1992. The Czech-born entrepreneur and former model had many positions within the Trump family enterprises, including acting as the Trump Organization’s former vice president of interior design.
Her design and construction work included the Trump Tower, the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, and the Grand Hyatt Hotel. She also oversaw Trump’s treasured Plaza Hotel property.
Donald Trump Jr., her first son, was born the following year, followed by daughter Ivanka in 1981 and son Eric in 1984. They were regular tabloid fodder, and consciously promoted a celebrity atmosphere around their marriage life.
