Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco reveal engagement after a year of dating

Popular American singer and actress Selena Gomez and famous record producer and songwriter Benjamin Joseph Levin, known professionally as Benny Blanco, have revealed their engagement after one year together.

The 32-year-old singer announced on December 11 that she and producer Benny Blanco, 36, are engaged and have been dating since June 2023.

Via an Instagram carousel, Selena also went public on the news with a photograph of her engagement ring. They also celebrated their engagement with laughs and a hug.

In the photo, Benny Blanco has been seen embracing his new fiancée while Gomez flashes her new bling.

Gomez this week received two Golden Globe nominations for “Only Murders” and her theatrical role in “Emilia Pérez”.

Earlier in the year, Benny Blanco released a cookbook, “Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends”.

When did Gomez and Blanco start dating?

The couple has gone public with their relationship one year ago. Gomez posted a series of photos, including a photo of her kissing her new beau, from a trip to New York.

The Rare Beauty appeared to reveal the two who had already been dating for six months.

Gomez in a Time interview published in May opened up about how their romance started.

Though Gomez at first had only considered him a friend, she had discovered her romantic feelings after joining a birthday party to meet his friend.

The songwriter disclosed a few details of his relationship on the Howard Stern Show the same month.
