US singer Taylor Swift, who is known for her biographical songwriting and artistic reinventions, sang a song titled “The Star-Spangled Banner” at a professional men’s basketball game at age 11.

The popular musician started writing songs the following year.

Born on December 13, 1989, in West Reading, Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift became interested in music at an early age.

When Swift was 13, her family moved to Hendersonville to be closer to the music scene in nearby Nashville.

Swift signed with Sony/ATV at age 14 as a songwriter in 2004.

She eventually signed with Big Machine.  Tim McGraw” was her first single.

By 2007, Swift sold over one million copies of a self-titled debut album.

The singer maintained a hard visiting schedule for Rascal Flatts, George Strait, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill.

She incorporated rock on Speak Now in 2010 and electronic on Red in 2012.

Her Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles are “Bad Blood”, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, “Blank Space”, “Look What You Made Me Do” and “Shake It Off.
