William Lawrence, an American professional football quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL), was “feeling better” after he suffered injuries in the club’s Week 13 matchup against the Houston Texans.
Trevor Lawrence injury came during his team’s 23-20 loss to the AFC South Division rival Houston Texans on December 1.
Hours after the injury, Lawrence posted on his X account to thank everyone who reached out and prayed for him.
In the post, Trevor Lawrence said he is now home and feeling better.
What Happened to Trevor Lawrence in the field?
Lawrence stayed down on the field after Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair hit Lawrence late in the second quarter.
According to Daryl Johnston, Al-Shaair’s hit was “shocking.” Lawrence was sliding as he was scrambling. Before slamming his shoulder and forearm into Lawrence’s head, The Houston linebacker appeared to have enough time to pause.
Al-Shaair was ejected from the game as he had unsportsmanlike conduct.
