Jacob Black, an American actor, comedian, and musician, considers his role in High Fidelity as his breakout into the Hollywood scene.

Black, also known for his roles in family and comedy films and his voice work in animated films, worked 2000 High Fidelity as a wild employee in a record store run by John Cusack.

High Fidelity is a romantic comedy-drama film, based on the 1995 British novel of the same name by Nick Hornby. Stephen Frears directed the film in which John Cusack, Jack Black, and Iben Hjejle are among the artists.

The film was a dangerous and profitable achievement upon its release.

He has been awarded for Children’s and Family Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and nominations for three Golden Globe Awards.

Recently, his name came to the limelight after Jack Black started hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time in about 20 years. The actor has launched tonight (Saturday)’s episode with a song about his return.

Black started his opening monologue by jokingly announcing that he was quitting the hosting show.

Then, a guitar riff started playing in the background. Providing him the “power to host again, Black was handed a microphone.

Black mentioned several projects during the 20 years in the song.“Jumanji,” “Kung Fu Panda,” “Nacho Libre” and “The Super Mario Bros are among those.  

Black, who is hosting the late-night sketch comedy show for the fourth time, is promoting his latest film, “A Minecraft Movie”.
