Who is hosting the Golden Globes 2025?

American stand-up comedian and actress Nikki Glaser is set to host the 2025 Golden Globes, which will be held at the Beverly Hilton in California on January 5, 2025.

According to the awards show’s website, the radio and television host will make history as the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo.

The announcement came during a live press conference on December 9 when Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut also announced the nominees for the 82nd Annual Golden Globes.

The two stars revealed nominations for all 27 categories. Best director, best original song and cinematic and box office achievement are among the categories. A new category was added to the ceremony last year.

On the film side, Emilia Pérez leads the field with 10 nominations. “The Brutalist” takes position with seven while “Conclave” with six.

“The Bear” set the pace with five nominations on TV while “Only Murders in the Building” and “Shōgun,” snagged four nods each.

The show will air live on Sunday (January 5, 2025) on CBS and Paramount+ at 5:00pm PT/8:00pm ET.
