Why is Palawan so famous?

Palawan is an archipelagic province of the Philippines. Located in the region of Mimaropa, the island is the largest province in the country.
Puerto Princesa, which is geographically grouped with but administered independently from the province, is a coastal city on Palawan Island in the western Philippines.
Known as Last Frontier and Best Island, Palawan stretches between Mindoro Island in the northeast and Borneo in the southwest.
Palawan is celebrated for its stunning natural beauty and diverse ecosystems. Here are a few reasons why Palawan is so famous.
Pristine beaches: The island is famous for its world’s most beautiful beaches, where powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters are available. El Nido and Coron are especially famous for limestone cliffs and picturesque lagoons.
Biodiversity: Rare and endangered species and many other unbelievable collections of wildlife are mentionable to the province. Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is a diver’s paradise. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
National Park: The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, a protected area in the Philippines, is another UNESCO World Heritage Site.
